CHARLES H. SACKS, DMD
Charles H. Sacks, DMD, was born in Philadelphia, raised in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of Wissahickon High School. He then went on to obtain a B.S. Degree in Psychology from Temple University, a M.S. Degree in Biology from Drexel University and his DMD Degree from Temple University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sacks began his professional career in Spring House, PA, when he joined the practice of Dr. Ralph MacMurtrie (who had been in practice in Spring House since 1955). Dr. Sacks purchased Dr. MacMurtrie’s practice in 1986. Both doctors worked together until Dr. MacMurtrie’s retirement in 1993.
Dr. Sacks is married to his wife, Linda. They have two sons. Dr. Sacks is an avid fitness advocate, loves boating, the ocean and traveling. He has been inducted in to the Wissahickon School District Hall of Fame.
Dr. Sacks keeps his knowledge of the latest dental technology current by annually attending more than 50 hours of continuing education in the field of dentistry and associated services. He is skilled in all phases of dentistry but primarily focuses his practice in cosmetic dentistry, fixed prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Sacks also utilizes the E4D technology producing crowns, inlays and onlays for a patient within one (1) dental visit instead of multiple visits to the dental office.
Dr. Sacks has made Gwynedd Dental’s goal to bring the most progressive dental care and treatment methodologies to all of the patients by constantly updating the equipment and education of his staff so that all of our patients receive the best standard of care possible.
MARC MOYER, DMD
Dr. Moyer grew up in Exeter Township, just outside of Reading, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Scranton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1999. Dr. Moyer then attended Temple University School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 2003.
In 2004, after finishing at Temple, Dr. Moyer completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pa.
Dr. Moyer focuses his practice on general dentistry, endodontics (root canals), traumatic emergencies and cosmetic dentistry. He continues to further his knowledge via many continuing education courses.
In his free time, Dr. Moyer lives an active lifestyle and spends most of the summer outside. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and tries to attend as many Eagles, Flyer and Phillies games as possible.
STEVEN LUBIN, DMD
Dr. Lubin is from the Philadelphia area and is a graduate of LaSalle College, with extensive coursework in Psychology and Biology. He has always been interested in the mind/body connection. Dr. Lubin then went on to Temple University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Lubin, a general dentist for over 20 years focuses on restorative and endodontic treatment. Dr. Lubin states that at Gwynedd Dental “it’s all about comfort and precision.”
Dr. Lubin now resides in Huntingdon Valley and is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast. He believes that his desire for his perfection in his craft is in his “genes” as his grandfather was a tailor and his father was an avid woodworker.
LEO J. KITUSKIE, DMD
Leo Kituskie attended LaSalle College High School and LaSalle University. He continued his dental training at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kituskie continued his specialty training at Temple University and received a Post-Doctorate Certificate in Periodontics. Dr. Kituskie is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Kituskie participates as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine, Department of Graduate Periodontics.
Dr. Kituskie resides in Gwynedd Valley with his wife and two children
STEWART V. HAGGERTY, DDS
Dr. Haggerty was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. In 1954, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. Degree in Chemistry. Dr. Haggerty was commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy in 1954 and entered flight training in Pensacola, Florida. He spent 7 years as a pilot in the Navy, flying over the Far East. His last 2 years in the Navy were spent at the University of Mississippi teaching NROTC.
Dr. Haggerty entered dental school at the University of Pennsylvania in 1961 and graduated in 1965. He spent 1 year in an oral surgery rotation at Philadelphia General Hospital. He entered private practice in Ambler in 1965. In 1994, he joined Gwynedd Dental.
Dr. Haggerty is a member of the ADA and a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. He specializes in mini implants to support dentures and crowns.
HOWARD M. DUNETZ, DMD
Howard M. Dunetz was born in Brooklyn, New York, and was raised on Long Island. He graduated from Hewlett High School in 1974. He was awarded Eagle Rank by the Boy Scouts of America and participated on the jumping and cross-country teams. He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1978 with a B.S. degree and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1983.
Dr. Dunetz entered private practice in 1983 in Syracuse, New York. He completed more than 500 hours of post graduate education in just his first few years of practice. Dr. Dunetz keeps his knowledge of the latest dental technology current by annually attending continuing dental education courses. He focuses his practice on root canal therapy and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Dunetz joined Gwynedd Dental in 1991.
Dr. Dunetz is married to Celeste Perla-Dunetz and has two children, Alexander and Analise. His interests include reading, horticulture, bonsai, canoeing, hiking, bicycling, long distance running and the sport of squash.
